Frequently Asked Questions

Will upgrading my glass or windows actually save me money in the long run?

Yes, we’ve had customers notice savings in their annual energy bills up to 30%!

Condominium/Apartment owner: My sliding windows seem to be single panes of glass and they typically frost over completely during the winter time. Would installing the TSI by RMS fix this problem?

Yes, numerous times we’ve seen this happen with the sliding windows that are currently used. With the TSI by RMS, you’ll have an added layer of glass which means a significant increase in the overall insulation value of the window. No more frosty glass, a lot less condensation and it won’t be so cold around the windows!

While performing the work do you take precautions to ensure cleanliness and no damage to personal property?

Yes, of course. One of our first steps in procurement of the project at hand, particularly if it’s being performed in someone’s home, we survey the space, move objects/furniture that may be in harm’s way, we tape off or cover flooring or other objects with drop sheets or a sheet of plastic poly to ensure safety of all objects or surfaces. Then when all the work is finished, we clean up after ourselves and make sure everything is just the way it was!
